Mike was a Conductor, Local Chairman, and mentor to the next generation

June 22, 1965 – August 29, 2017 Our beloved baby brother Michael, friend to many, loved by all, passed away peacefully August 29 at the age of 52 following a sudden assault by cancer. All his siblings and many loved ones were at his side in his final days.
He was a happy man with a great sense of humour, which he never lost despite his battle. He had a huge heart and will be sadly missed.
Michael is survived by his siblings Marjorie (Ken Underdahl), brother-in-law Neil Brown (Dana), Melanie Thompson (Phil), Jill Bearden (Roger), Ron, Lex (Cheryl McKevitt); his aunt Patty; his favourite cousin Demetri Tzotzos, with whom he was always very close; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by his mom and dad Ron and Avelle, and his beloved sister Dana.
After a 30 year career with Canadian Pacific Rail as a dedicated conductor, Local Chairman, and mentor to the next generation, Mike was less than 3 years from retirement. At CP Rail, he had many wonderful friends and colleagues. Mikey, we love you - have a stellar time on that great golf course in the sky and keep your fishing pole nearby.
